I am surprised to hear of the number of owners that use their S2k's at their local or maybe not local tracks. How does this effect your insurance coverage or is this one of those thing that the ins. might not know about. There are no tracks close to where I live, Probably a good thing. Temptation!!

The question revolves around two main things:

Is it a timed event and is it competitive?

Outside of that, call your track time "driver's education on a closed course" and that MAY get your unfortunate thing covered by insurance.

Tricks, it's the risk you take. If you want to have fun then there is no safer place than the track with good runoff (spinoff!) areas etc.

But if you do bend it .... then you pay to mend it!
