Get a copy of John Allen Paulos' A Mathematician Reads the Newspaper; in it he has a chapter devoted to coincidences such as these. A little research yields similar parallels between other pairs of Presidents. The upshot: it's coincidence; not very remarkable, statistically, and completely meaningless.

 

You guys should watch Manchurian Candidate. The stuff and info in the movie is really intriguing with governmental conspiracies and the like.
