Same thing with my HS... Every year we had at least one fatality from drunk driving. And when I came back from college I got to see it again. Drunk + inexperienced + triple digit speeds + no seat belts, you can fill in the rest.

Around campus, people cross stupid. Ya gotta be ready for a darter who's head is down on their cellphone. Unpredictable like deer around the school so you have to crawl around just to be safe.
