Default Kids Names...WTH

Alright, I just got back from our 6 year old's end-of-year school program, which of course was excellent, and as I am looking at the artwork on the walls I am noticing some really odd names for some of these kids...

Quativia
Justina
Dailynn
Ke'Andre
Trishay
Tyshan

Some aren't too bad, but Quativia?? It sounds like a disease or something. I'm just puzzled as to why some parents do these things. To be different via your personality is one thing, but being different due to a name seems weird, to me anyway.

I had a young lady ringing up my sale at a register and her name tag had Shitazz on it. She said it like Shaa-tahs but it looked like Shit ass to me.

More and more names are beginning to sound like names for bottled water! (Evian, Dasani, Aquafina, etc.)
