Yes, Mr. Vincent is in pretty bad shape. There are stories of just how blitzed he was on the set of Airwolf. The problems with him combined with less and less use of Airwolf itself, killed the show. I'll never understand why some shows think they can hold audience when the main attraction (and namesake) of the show is scaled back. McGyver had this same problem. By the end it was just an ordinary run of the mill action show. No more saving the world with a roll of tape, stick of gum and tree sap. Back to Mr. Vincent for a moment. It is actually kind of sad that Earnest Borgnine (sp?) who played Dominick Santini on the show, is in better shape at some 25+ years older than good 'ol String Fellow Hawk.
Speaking of the KARR, Airwolf also had the mirror image enemy for a show or two. I think it may have just been called "The Second Airwolf", sort of like the second Firefox. This one was driven by the guy that our hero String Fellow beat out for pilot. Of course all of this dims in compression to the eye patch wearing, pimp like dressing, Arch Angel.
Ah, the memories.
To bring it back to cars for a moment. The one car I'll NEVER forget on the one episode I'll never forget, is when Sonny Crocket on Miami Vice steps out to see his new white Ferrari Testarossa. That was the first time I had seen that car and I nearly had a coronary.
