interseting all of the shows that are in the Rambo era: Airwolf, A-Team, and KITT - all vigalante's out to do some good by fixing other people's bullied problems with guns when they don't know how to hit anything.

Now, we move into an era of survivor/reality tv/real world sitcoms where we want to believe that its all reality, when its far from it. sure, they are amusing to watch, but one particular commentary is still itching on my back regarding these shows: how it transforms attitudes in social and professional spaces to the point of stab-in-the-back attitudes to be the winner over all.

I wonder if we'll ever get a real tv show like The Running Man where they actually hunt down prisoners. That would be a good idea, of course, without the cheesey one-liners.

It's MacGyver with an 'A', thank you very much and I still save the world with bobby pins and milk jugs...but I have to be more eco-conscious nowadays (Cartman - "sounds like a buncha tree-huggin' hippy CRAP to me!")

Insomniak: Would you mind posting that as an MP3 somewhere and letting us know the name? 'twould appreciate it...

I never saw a single episode; I guess I'm a square. I'm from the "Gunsmoke/Bonanza" generation. You know, before most of you young whipper-snappers were even a gleam in your daddy's eye. I remember "Bonanza" vividly, because it was one of the first TV programs broadcast in living color. The first color TVs had a round tube, and the color was terrible.

Kiss my ponderosa, you young whipper-snapper!
