Us American's like to use our thumb's. That's why soccer hasn't, and will never catch on here.

try to find vids of 80's brazilian soccer player Zico, 90's Serbia and montenegro defender Mikhailovic, Johan Cruyff of the Netherlands, Maradona and Michel Platini some of the few off the top of my head who used to bend the ball be4/better than beckham.
Beckham is only good at corner and free kicks.
its very hard to find him actually passing the ball accuratly while on a run.
