We could not drop depleted uranium shells in Iraq. We could not fund the illegal expansion of Israel. We could not put crippling sanctions on the Iranian people over a bomb they don't have. We could have not helped the Al Qaeda rebellion in Libya. We could stop torturing people in our prisons around the globe. We could stop drone striking innocent civilians in Pakistan. We could not assassinate U.S. citizens without trials. The list goes on...
All I'm saying is before we continue to risk our blood and treasure for other peoples battles out of morality; let's make sure we have a moral ground to stand on. Figuratively speaking: Let's eat what's on our plate before we reach across the table...

how do we know that money spent/donated
1. won't be lining the pocket of some scam artist? Because some website says so? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/1...n_1116197.html
2. if the money gets to Uganda, won't be used by the corrupted gov officials to suppress its citizens? (in this case your money is actually doing the opposite of what you wanted - which is even worse than scenario 1 above)
3. even if this succeed and Kony is killed or captured, will there be another one just like him just a few months down the road? what are we to do then, throw even more money at this problem?

I also understand that it takes a lot of money to create a video that can grab so many peoples attention so strongly! BUT after reading many of the critics to this group it does seem very shady. I think their suggested action is still great! BUT if they are taking large portions of profits for themselves then as far as Im concerned they can go to hell with Kony! Dont use the face of charity for your own personal gains.

I absolutely hate my generation, bunch of kids that think their "liberals" but know nothing of politics. These are the same people that occupied wall street. They fall in line like little pawns, "Oh facebook says I need to occupy wall street and stop Kony, I better get involved by posting about this."
