Lactose intolerance?
How is it that I, someone who used to go through a gallon of milk in 2 days and ate cheese like it was lettuce, develop lactose intolerance when I got older? I love dairy products, but now I'm afraid to have them
Me too, I have been lactose intolorant for 7 years now. It was the biggest pain in the ass as a younger kid, I can remember walking home from school being hungry and only having like 2 bucks in my pocket, so what can you get a sclice of pizza-no, candy bar- no, that for me was really hard. I guess I had a really bad case of it. I could't eat any thing with milk products or even whey. Recently though I've been trying to incoroprate some product into my diet, like a cheese burger or a slice of pizza, but never straight milk. allways somekind of prccesed milk. Sometimes when you get older it can become worse but some instances it can get better. When I'm sick and I'll know that I'll be home for the next day or too I just splurge and get every thing with cheese. Now there are also alot of new products comming out, lactaid milk is great much better then soy and their ice cream is good too.
Good luck
