lakers fans
Its cool there's always next time. You guys had a full roster, including the ref's on your side (dont' even tell me that was a foul on Mason and if you watch trevor's travel call, he only took 2 steps plus he got fouled), and we had an 8 man rotation (9 if you want to include sun). You guys probably played your best game of the year, we had an injured Odom yet you only win by 1 point from a 3 point play that shouldn't be called in the closing seconds (if you going to call that foul, call a foul on the other end). Back to back game for us, you guys have been resting and waiting for the lakers since sunday. Did I mention it was also a home game for u guys? It was an awesome game til the ref's decided the outcome.

there's always excuses
Except that wasn't an excuse at all. Its hard to even have a chance when the referee calls a foul for Mason when he attempted to jump BACKWARDS into Fisher and Ariza gets called for travelling when he took two normal steps. Lakers couldn't have played better in the end. Kobe was accurate when shooting, unselfish when double teamed, and the officials carried the Spurs to the promise land!
congrats guys
Spurs did have a great game, though, the best of their season!

lakers fans bitching about poor officiating?! now i have heard it all...staples center is where the shadiest calls in history have gone down.
you don't hear me bitching about fisher knocking down brent berry at the end of our postseason run, the most obvious foul of all time, and not a single wistle.
lakers are the last team that should bitch about refs...

or last season when the warriors were making a push to get into the playoffs, when fisher runs up to monta ellis and pulls him down by the jersey, and somehow the foul was on monta!?
okay, we'll scratch the bad calls. I'm glad we had a good game against a full strength spurs team on there home floor on a back to back while suiting up only 9 players. I wonder after the game if Popp still thinks his spurs aren't in the same league as the lakers?
