okay, we'll scratch the bad calls. I'm glad we had a good game against a full strength spurs team on there home floor on a back to back while suiting up only 9 players. I wonder after the game if Popp still thinks his spurs aren't in the same league as the lakers?
Brent Barry's three point fiasco last year is the only thing you can come up with? The reason your team doesn't get calls is because they play for the foul, and sometimes referees don't give the call in that instance. If he didn't shoot a half court lob it might have been called. It was a terrible play call/decision and he admitted it (Brent Barry). Thats not good enough.
Trevor Ariza made a Basketball move, To The Basket. He didn't jump at a defender to try to get a call. Two different cases. Besides the fact of Barry being 5 feet behind the three point line.

I guess the Warriors can rest now since they beat the Celtics. Their mission has been accomplished for the year ...
Kinda funny how the OWN SPURS' COACH said it was not a foul on Barry either eh?
It's ok though because in the end, with reactions like Spurs fan rejoicing shows that the Lakers team is really a very good team and that other teams are out to beat them as a highlight to their season. Whereas if the Lakers beat the Spurs its just another (1) in the win column ...
Well, honestly, the win is very important for the Lakers, as home court advantage will play a heavy hand in deciding their fate in the playoffs. This game, as a basic example, shows what having home calls can do for your chances in a game. The competition is just that good. The Lakers have all said that only first place in the NBA will satisfy them at the end of the season, and the race is tight.

Regardless of how exactly important it can be, you do not see (or will not see) Lakers fan making a thread to say sorry to the Spurs
so that was where my comment was aimed at more.. Trainwreck - I read rumors that Tmac is going to retire?!?
I cannot wait for Monday .. my damn boss got tickets to that game.

I hope the Lakers start sucking hard in the coming years. Its annoying as hell to try to go out to dinner at anywhere with a TV and listen to all the obnoxious cheering whenever they make a basket. I mean seriously, who the hell cares?
So hooray they lost
