Default Lakers Will 3Peat...

'Nuff said...

They're playing amazing basketball...and it's only the first 3 games of the season...

And I'm not bandwagon fan...been with 'em all my life...ever since Green had those Jerry Curls and fans yelled "Coooooooop" every time Michael Cooper touched the ball...

They're almost playing championship level basketball AT THE START OF THE SEASON! I love them, been with em for a long time, back to when I can even remember watching basketball. Byron Scott, Larry Drew, James Worthy ... Magic! Showtime has returned in the form of a 300 lb. monster under the basket, and a young superstar a la Kobe.

I am a huge Lakers fan myself. I just hope they still have the 'hunger' when playoffs roll around. It's always better to peak near the end of the season.

Peak or no peak the Lakers are 3-peating. Even the bulls of the '90s would have trouble contending with this team in a 7-game series, and with the NBA looking the way it is right now (with a lack of centers and dominating big men) it should be fairly easy for Shaq and Co. to successfully sweep the playoffs this year seeing as they only got better in the off season. I hate the lakers because the rest of the NBA is very close in talent and the playoffs wouldn't just be a goddamn sweep....it seems like every team has a great balance of players that can make things happen all night long(hell even the nets are good this year), but none of them have anyway of contending with shaq. The lakers are gonna make the nba very boring and predictable for the next 6 years at the least!

With the addition of the new players, the Lakers are stronger this year than they were last year. The question is, how many rings are they going to win before it's all over. DYNASTY BABY!!!!

I think the real question is how long can Kobe and Shaq stay together. I know that Shaq said that Kobe should win the MVP this season, but Shaq talks alot of blabber. For instance about those chicks that he slept with. Kobe is having a great start nevertheless.
My fantasy team sucks!

GO MAVERICKS!!!

I've been following these guys since Elgin Baylor and Jerry West -- and this team is the best.
