Default lame lines guys say on a first date

1) the guy repeats "i'm a romantic guy" at least three time.

2) just kiss me, i promise i won't use tongue.

3) i'm the most amazing guy you'll ever meet.

So, what's the best line then? I'm happily married so obviously I did something right (or she was very tolerant ), but I'm just wondering what you think is a good line.

"Teach me - I'm clueless"? "Tell me what you want, what you really really want"? "I love your eyes"? "You must be tired from running through my mind so much"?

I just find that girls hate it when guys don't know what they're doing, but also don't like to tell them what to do. So, what are the single guys to do? Bumble around? Read Cosmopolitan? Any ideas for those out there that aren't so knowledgeable in regards to the fairer sex?

I have/had three sisters living at home with me and only my Mom was at home since I was ten (parents divorced). I have more patience than most men will ever have and guess how I got it?That's right - living with a bunch of women half my life. While that guy may not have picked up as much as some (according to you, he picked up nothing), I wouldn't kick the idea - guys that are raised around a lot of women often DO know how to treat them well (because they know so much about moods, emotional behaviour, etc, etc, and have also seen/heard all that guys have done and told their sisters and/or mother (in some cases)). Either that, or the guy treats women like crap because he had to deal with so much of it at home.

THIS WAS NOT ME, but a doofy friend from back in the days:

"are those real? they look perfect. i wonder what they feel like?"
(he never knew)

another one: (different guy)

"wow, i never thought i would ever be able to afford a girl like you"....and he did NOT mean prostitute, he meant he thought she was one of those real high class girls who only dated wealthy men. she of course took it the wrong way!!!

Why do people even bother with lines? Just be yourself. She's gonna find out who you are anyway.
