lasic - I was minus 8 diopeters
Just thought i would share..... I went from "damn near blind without glasses or contacts" (I used to squint to find my stupid glasses in the morning, or without correction I could not see anything on the dashboard of my car).
i am not probably 20/30 at times.... my vision is still fluxuating since they had to zap my eyes for about 10 minutes. (joking)...
anyway.... pretty cool shit.... My eyes are basically back to where they were in 1982 or so...
I was told my vision would fluxuate for as long as a few months due to the level of zapping they had to do, but I don't know anyone with anything close to -8 diopeters who had it done to ask how theirs' was....
this is my one positive post for the year.

Cool. I have been debating getting Lasik done. Its just that most people think I look better with glasses.
It would make wearing a helmet easier, and I may get Scuba trained if I didn't need glasses.

My wife had it, and while she is happy she still has to put drops in a few times a day because she developed dry eyes afterward. The doc said, "It happens to some people."
That would be annoying but she finds it less annoying than the hard contacts she had to wear.
