Law School Anyone?
So is anyone on here currently attending law school? Or did you attend law school?
If so . . .
1. Where?
2. What were your LSAT/GPA?
3. Why did you choose that school?
4. What did you write about in your personal statement?
I have a very high GPA, mid 160's LSAT(which isn't that great, and I'm kinda pissed about it, because I broke my right hand, so I can't retake. and the day when i took it in june, it started an hour late, I had to switch rooms, twice, and my proctor spent a lot of time coming and going, and talking on her cell phone)
I have a very prestigious prof writing a rec letter for me, as well as a very prominent attorney with one of the most powerful law firms in the world writing the other one(I worked for him over the summer, and he is a colleague of my fathers)
I will be sending out all of my apps in a couple of weeks or so. I am working on my personal statement at the moment, so any advice anyone could give me on that would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Jared

My niece took hers a few months ago and got a 177 and a 3.92 cumulative undergraduate GPA. That pretty much got her a full ride but not at Harvard or Yale. She did have a LOT of choices though.

i'm applying when my scores come out (low 160s is the best i can hope for, probably mid 150s
). i had shitty grades in undergrad but redeemed myself when i got my MBA. i'm only applying to state schools here and a couple of 20s and 30s ranking schools i feel comfortable about. there is no way i'll stand out in any coastal schools (too many asians!!) so i'm going to apply to law schools with very low minority index
you are only an asian URM if you're not in CA
