I just heard that the owners of the Texas Motor Speedway have filed suit against CART for cancelling the Firehawk 600 race. The outcome should be interesting since TMS is not the track of choice for the racers.

wow! I'm sure people will be happy about this, but if it is a big claim on TMS's part, how will they repay their fans? The only way that CART could make up for it would be to hold a free race next year. At least that's just my opinion. Of course, they'd make bundles from concessions and novelties. I wonder if they'd propose such a thing to combat this suit.

 

I tell you what... if thre's a contract, after it's over, CART won't be going back there....
