There is no way in hell they are going to take you to court. I'd wait for the next call, record that too, then call your local media. They love this kind of stuff.

I can see that on the news right now - "Tri County Fence is the best place to buy Pintos in Knoxville - just don't expect any service on it. You can expect the owner to leave you a nasty message saying he's going to sue you for slander if you try to get them to back their work up......"

 

These contractors aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. As everyone has said, you can be diplomatic and allow them to fix your fencing for free and you'll take down your pics.

 

I know it's too late but why in the hell did you ever pay them for that?

I haven't read the responses, but here's my 2 cents.

If it's true, it isn't slander or libel. They may sue and lose, however, it's troublesome for you too. Which is more beneficial to you, having to show to court or taking the pictures off?

 

If they initiate a lawsuit, you might as well countersue for the cost of having a third party come out and repair the fence - that could be a lot of money.
