Default leaving dog in the hot car

we had a really HOT weekend in socal and the news was reporting people leaving their pets in their cars. all I can ask is WTF! how can people do things like that? do you know anyone who has done so and heard a half decent explanation? imo, people caught doing so ought to be locked in their own hot car for however long they did it to the animal.

I've actually been stuck in a car in the heat for close to 45 minutes. Almost passed out. Excessive heat can cause brain damage. No excuse could warrant leaving a pet locked up in the heat.

Dog in hot car = hot dog = Korean food.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

People have been caught with leaving babies in hot cars, much less animals. Some people are just stupid and careless, and that's just one aspect of human nature.

Sad truly. This weekend I took my dog to the ocean. I felt so bad for him when he had to walk on the sand. He didn't like it either, but then 2 3 hours in the cool ocean water and he was in heaven.

If they don't roll the windows down to vent heat, that's wrong.

Good way to get rid of a dog you don't want anymore.
