1911's recoil to the right and a lefty would have it going across their face after each shot. It also ejects the spent shell to the right and it is damn hot!!!

The original HK P7 is ambidexterous by design. I love them so much I have two!

True. I tried the later models (I have the PSPs) and they didn't "feel" as good to me.

I forgot about how much effort it takes to load the magazines. I just think it's cool that it works like a double action pistol - while maintaining the same trigger pull for the 1st shot through the last... and that super compact size ... and the very natural pointing angle...
