Is this legal?
Yep.....he can wait. Why wouldn't he be able to?
Similar situation for me yesterday (well, I was on the other side). Walked out of a store to my car and noticed the guy that had just parked next to me had to chug his Budweiser before he could get out of his car. He seemed to walk a little wonky. Called the cops and they waited at the edge of the parking lot for him to come back out.
I’m glad the cop could wait for this jack wagon.

Yep, wasn't too happy leaving it there though. Only thing that was calming me was knowing people that work there and their security cameras.
Exhaust is Dual invidia v3 with test pipe. Been like this for almost 4 years now.
Something different about this year though. The frequency of cruisers on the road around here have gone up significantly...
As far as getting it towed, yes. Yes, I would need to be present for this to happen. My explanation to the manager on shift that night, was that I had engine trouble and needed to know if I could leave it parked there for a few hours.
Before I get burned for lying, I'm not about to tell a manager that there is a cop waiting for me in their lot and i need to leave my car there to avoid getting pulled over.

I think he is paranoid as well. If the cop had wanted him, he would have pulled up behind him and blocked him in. IUf he would have wanted to hear his exhaust, he wouldn't have been sitting with his lights on, he would have been sitting thbere quietly with his windows down.

I have done the same before, guy was swerving all over the road onto oncoming traffic, I called the cops and within 4 mins he was arrested. Call me a snitch if u want, I rather be called that than have that stupid f@#k kill someone.
