The view from the top of one of my favorite hikes (The Hope Summit trail in Hope, AK).
This is looking North across the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet. On the far left side of the picture is Anchorage.
The photo was five digital snapshots combined in Photoshop, it might be a little small to see details, but you get the idea. The orignal composite was 66megs , a little too big to post here. You should be able to double click the image to see larger versions.
Here's what I drove in Toronto last month for 4 days. Its a 2002 Porche 911 with the latest version of Porsche's Tiptronic automatic transmission. No clutch in a Porsche? I was reluctant to rent this very sweet car at first, but the guys at Budget rentacar talked me into trying it out for a day. I fell in love! It has artificial intelligence and learns how you drive and even teaches you how to drive it properly.
I liken it to riding a stallion, a car that thinks! Absolutely amazing! Needless to say, I had a blast driving it around Toronto and turned heads everywhere I went. Most memorable was my drive from downtown Toronto to Niagara Falls about 4am one morning, did a photo shoot of the falls at dawn and drove it back like it was stolen. No radar on that super highway! Several very fast motorcycles were also out for a run that morning, and I of course was no match for those guys! What a sweet memory!
Have lots of images of the falls and sun rises and stuff but thought this was more interesting. Will post landscapes once I get around to uploading them to the board.
