Two sides to this:
My partner is twelve years younger than me but we are a very good match. She's quite mature for her age (it's also been suggested I'm immature but I just put my baseball cap on backwards, pick up my Pokemon cards and give 'em the finger). And in my experience many 30yo's are 20yo's with 10 years of baggage.

The other side:
I friend of mine is a chinese female and has suffered all her life at the attention of middle aged men. I've observed it when I am with her. It appears us males get to about 40 and suddenly asian women become objects to oggle at regardless of disrespect for either our partners or the object of our drooling. It's not an aspect of middle age relish.

That's interesting. My girlfriend is 30yo and Japanese. She's continually getting accosted in the street, on buses, in shops, anywhere really, and it's mostly by socially inadequate middle aged (or older) men. You've got to feel sorry for them in a way because they're quite lonely and they somehow feel a Japanese girl will be gentle and undemanding. It freaks my GF out though so she just pretends not to speak english
