Default Local hit and run...whos at fault

Let me start out by saying I hope the kid is ok. Now let me continue with GET THE HELL OUT OF THE STREET! Seriously, when did the side walk become "not cool". Its a mental issue or something. I dont get it. WHYYYYYY THEEEEEE HEEEEELLLLLL ARE YOU IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET. Im glad they caught the guy but these people should also have charges pressed against them for being in the road. If I was the drivers lawyer Id say my client was spooked because he saw them at the last second and tried to dodge them. They ran out infront of my bumper sir.

If they would have been on the sidewalk then theyd be fine

ALSO, why is there 50-60 people walking around in the road at 1:30AM
GO TO BED and get some sleep for your job in the morning.

Anyone else have this problem?

Im done...for now

Anyone else have what problem; cognitive dissonance?

If you were the drivers lawyer, you would have argued that people in the street spooked you so you kept driving and hit them, instead of I dunno... use the brakes? Did you see how many people were on the side of the road? If the driver, your client, 'just saw them' and didn't have time to brake, was he asleep? Is he retarded? How could you miss that?

Your argument that if they were on the sidewalk they'd be fine is retarded; they got hit on the sidewalk. If they had stayed in the middle of the street, they wouldn't have been hit. You must have missed the part where the driver made that left turn about 50ft too early, and rode over the sidewalk.

Lastly, why in the world are you assuming they have morning jobs? Maybe they're in the nightlife industry. Or maybe they're jobless, or maybe the next day is their day off, or who the f@#k knows, but that's the most retarded quip I've heard. ChefJ levels.

(p.s. Don't get me wrong, they are fairly stupid for roaming the middle of the street).

Ever walk in a hallway or in the mall and the person coming at you goes the way your going? Maybe he saw them and said "oh they won't move" so he went where they weren't and they did the same. It happens all the time.

What probably happened was they were all at a party, the driver and these people got into an argument, and he settled it on the road

At the end of the day...GTFO out of the street. There should be a law for this.

If a person is run over in a cross walk or on a sidewalk (NOT after being in the street and trying to dodge) the driver shold be at fault.

If a person is in the middle of the street not giving 2 sharts about me driving, forcing me to stop, not moving etc...fair game.

Maybe cites should switch things up. Walk in the streets, drive on the sidewalks

Lol at your clip though

Have you ever been driving in a car, and saw someone crossing the street, applied your brakes and stop moving your 3000+ lbs vehicle so you didn't hit them, instead of playing guessing games at 35mph+? It happens all the time.

Is that sort of like when people think they should have a right to hit someone with their car, because they're on the public not personal road?

Sorry, I can't hear the sarcasm through the white noise of cognitive dissonance.

you sound like you walk in the middle of the street...sorry if I offended you.

Im not saying what the driver did was right. He should not have hit them and im glad he got caught.
But for the kids walking in the middle of the street/got into an argument prior, you play with fire your gonna get burned.

That looked intentional to me. Obvious some event just let out, driver should have been more aware and cautious. Would like to read more on what actually transpired.
