Logitech remotes....

Thinking of possibly getting a Logitech remote for the house... Due to the fact that we have about 5 remotes, and its getting really irritating loosing them (the kid likes to hide shit
) and their comptable with PS3's now (with adapter)Anyways, I was thinking to get either one of the two models listed below....
Harmony One
Or
Harmony 1100
Anyone have experience with these? I am not sure if the 1100 is worth the 399.... but I like the idea of being able to control everything in the house...Lights, AC, ETc... I am lazy

If you have any info on these, please let me know. You can find Harmony 1100's on eBay for about $200 for brand new if you look hard enough.
Also, if you know where to get one of these cheap, please let me know on that too. Thanks!
Alex
I don't have either of the ones you're looking at, but I have a cheaper model. I like the remote except for two things:
It slows down the response, and it broke. Now, they replaced it for free within a year, and the replacement is fine. The response with my Tivo is still faster than a standard Cox DVR and remote...just slower than a Tivo remote.

I have a Harmony 880. The first one I got had a broken up volume button. Logitech was quick to replace it but now about 18 months later a few of the button require a firm press to activate.
Still it is a fantastic remote and very easy to program.

You can always go into the settings and adjust the the delays. You can make them just as fast as the regular remotes.
I have the 880 also and I LOVE it. I have the PS3 adapter as well. It was super easy to program and its simple enough that even visitors to my house can easily navigate all the devices.

I have a Harmony One and it runs my entire HT rig. I went from 7 remotes to 1. The projector was a little difficult in the beginning but it all works now. If mine crapped out right now i'd buy another one today.
My dad has one. I used it for a little over a year before we moved out.
It's an AMAZING remote. Especially when it's all hooked up properly. After almost 2 years, I think the buttons are starting to get a little tired (i.e. not always responding). But he DID say that it could have to do with the fact that the eye on the DVR receiver sucks balls
If I had more shit hooked up to my TV besides a a cable box, I'd consider one. (he has the TV, receiver, speakers, dvd player, cd player, vhs).
