yeah more like that. but with a straight line on top of the hand part instead of that slight curve.

The only problem with doing that is that the front talon comes out higher that the connecting part of the leg. Making that line straight and not following the curve of the main for would look odd unless the talon is further revised.

I would of course clean up the lines and make it evenly spaced around the main form. This is still pretty rough.
