Look what they found!
In the mid 1860's a whaling ship out hunting for Moby Dick caught a large sperm whale that had sucker scars 24 inches in diameter all over its head. They said this extrapolated to tentacles 50 meters long, exclusive of the body. They were glad they didn't find the squid! We don't even know what is out there.
They have found this squid, Architeuthis dux, before in the stomach of whales and along shores. It is estimated that the squid can reach 60 feet in length and weigh a whopping 1 ton. It lives very deep and has never been seen before in it's natural habitat. The only evidence of it's existence has been the whale stomachs and the dead ones washing up to the shore. Pretty freaky looking monster. We studied it in my 2 marine bio classes back in college.

I agree with adidaSPOON , there is so much about our own planet that man will never know cause of the destruction and failure of there capacity to explore this that for some reason has been purposely hidden from man....
