Go for TC4 or if you want gas TC3, so many aftermarket parts for Team Associated. I remember when losi and associated the 2 popular brand back in the days.

Instead of making a new topic i just jack this one for a moment, since its somewhat related.

I am going to buy the HPI RTR Sprint 2 Drift car soon. I already have wheels and a body picked out, so the "show" part is taken care of for now. What "go" upgrades would you guys recommend?

wouldnt think you would need any "go" upgrades for drifting but you could always go with some sort of brushless motor/sc or just pick up a better battery.

Or get HPI's Sprint 2 Flux. It comes with a brushless motor and a DSM radio. It costs over hundred bucks more than the Sprint 2 Drift but it has a stronger drivetrain and full ball bearings...just get hard compound tires and you can drift it, and if you get tired of drifting you can put the soft tires back on and go to a track.

Yeah I just checked it out and it seems to be just what I want. I'll be picking up a s2k body and some Work wheels. Should be legit.

That's exactly what I've been planning to do as soon as I pay off some of my credit cards. Let me know if and where you find polycarbonate paint that's close to Suzuka blue.
