I used to drift with Mini-Z AWD. It is pretty hard compare to bigger size ones, but I can drift around indoor. Office, living room, my room, etc.
Also, when you get better with small ones, it is way easier to drift with bigger ones.

no offense but HPI car's are kinda lame...and I know from experieince... they do make some nice stuff like the savage but they're cars are eh....the most serious drift car's are yokomo http://www.yokomousa.com/
