Default looking for career

Ok heres the deal, I've been out of school for a little over a year (MBA in marketing). I was laid off last month from a mortgage company. Wondering if anyone would have some pointers on some profitable career moves this 24 year old could make.

it's tough times economically bro.

just gotta get out there and hustle. also, ask around and see what you can do to improve your skill set.

keep learning and improving yourself-- but I don't mean necessarily going back to school. anything that helps you stand out and makes your resume that much stronger.

Sorry about the lack of details, anyway the mortgage company was the best paying thing i could find at the time considering the great state of the econ. The work was fullfilling. The interaction with customers and having goals that paid nice bonuses were great. The rates went back up and they were unable to maintain the level of clients needed to support operating cost, so 100 people were shown the door. As for the work I like is in the line of customer service, some creativity

See if you can stick with selling a complex product. It sounds to me like you may really enjoy the consultive aspects to the sales process....as well as enjoying the huge potential upside! Stay in an industry long enough to really learn it and you can build asweet career for yourself

Real estate is still the best thing going. I would find another mortgage company.
