meh, I don't have an iPhone, but I got play with one. Very cool little gadget with just one flaw. Every phone with Windows Mobile 5 or higher has even more features then the iPhone, so I guess I'll stick to my HTC TyTN II.

 

I've heard this from quite a few people, which is why I don't have one. Dealing with Windows on my laptp can be painful eough at times! I want to go with Palm or Apple, or Android eventually, possibly... Since Android and Apple are open now, I think there will be so much possibility for them very soon.

 

They are slow, buggy, and horrible GUI. I had quite a few windows phones, and before anyone jumps down my throat, they were all hacked/upgraded to Windows Mobile 6, which was still crap.

The iphone is in a league of it's own in the cellphone market. I hated them at first, but Apple, the well managed company they are, took care of the problems, and now the phone is...for lack of a better word, flawless.

What other phone do you know, can be made better by the manufacturer using software (itunes in this case)

No matter what you mess up in the iphone, all you do is click "Restore" and everything goes back to normal.

I have owned almost every "major" phone that has been out since the late 90s. This is bar none, the best phone I have ever seen.

If you have an unlocked phone you can simulate push email using IMAP. It's just as fast as texting or using a Blackberry, but alas it's only on unlocked 1.1.1 firmware phones until after the Feb 08 SDK.

Also, Wired magazine's year end roundup of electronics has a decent review of all the major players. The iPhone just barely edged out the 2nd place phone.

 

Are there any programs for the iphone that allows for a full GPS? I really can't wait until summer for the version 2.

i dont like that you can't mass text and i've found out that when im on the internet i dont got majority of the call's and it just goes to my voicemail.

 

I love my iphone..The only thing i wish was a little longer battery but im also on it alot so...

 

Just got mine a few days ago, its amazing.... except for a few things
The battery life sucks, im not sure if its because I play with it a lot or what.
Also i have been told by a few people that they have tried calling and I never received a call

Besides that it is a great phone, the web browser is great.
