Lord of the Rings
Saw this movie last night. Was very reluctant because I thought it would never live up to the expectations. All I have to say is that I loved it, and am going to see it again tonight due to the fact that I got there late yesterday and ended up sitting in the second row on the floor. Some of the scenes viewed that close kind of made you feel like you were falling, so it was kind of interesting. What did everyone else think of it?
Saw it last night. After three hours of the film I can't wait until the next two Christmases when the second and third movies are released.
Great story, great acting, fabulous scenes, incredible special effects. Best movie of the year!
Caution: Many battles, but not a lot blood. Still, may not be suitable for young children. Definitely PG-13.

Definitely the best film I have ever seen in my 34 year life. Saw it on opening night at 8 pm and plan to see it two more times with others who were not planning on seeing it. I plan to tell everyone I know and who ask about how they need to go see this movie. I feel like a hobitt. I can not find any faults with this movie other than having to wait 12 more months before the 2nd part and 24 months before the 3rd and final part. They finished filming all parts already since it was 2 years in the making filming all episodes back to back so why make us wait for each film? They should release 6 months apart not 12.

I'm re-reading the book currently - of course the book has more in it, but the film has pulled off both the charm and the terror without resorting to blood, bad language etc.

I could then justify having the 6th speaker
Any bets that we'll get a version of the Hobbit for the kids.......
How about a version of Silmarilion so that we might understand what it was on about
