The writers had let slip in some interview that a "majorish" character as they put it will get killed off soon. Looks like they are setting up Sayid.

I don't think he's dead. Notice the classic movie blunder of not firing more than once or checking the body to make sure. I think they are going to stick to Faraday's theory that "Whatever happened, happened. You can't change it."

i think im "that guy". Ive never seen one episode of lost and i think theres too much story thats gone by for me to catch up. I guess i'll never know what the hype is about.
