But still with a car with that much horsepower, I would figure a better 0-60 then 3.7. Does the 911 T not do it in 3.8 with less then half the HP?
I'm not saying that I wouldn't want 1000hp under the hood of one of my cars, but the real challenge? how much more fun is it for the money?

More power is always better in my book as long as you have the chassis to handle it. However, some of the newer supercar concepts seem to be designed more for a high top speed than anything else. It's hard enough to ever see the top speed of an s2k let alone some 250mph supercar. Acceleration and handling are where it's at. I would much rather see someone try to put out a sub 10 sec supercar than one that goes 250.

It still doesn't outperform my shoyu burner by much, so why would i want one... just a few seconds here and there.
