Why did you give him anything. I would have told him to get f * c ked.

I pulled up to a red light after exiting a freeway in Pasadena last week and this panhandler leaped out in front of my car. I hit the brakes, figuring "I just killed this guy," but ABS did its job and I missed him by a few inches. He's now lying in the street on his stomach in front of me. He reaches out and retrieves a cigarette butt in the street and waves it proudly with a toothless grin.
At least he didn't ask you for money!

ppl that take out other ppl's clothes out of the dryer after the cycle has ended.
(apt/condo complex)

i can understand if the person is like 10+ mins late... but i left for one minute to get my basket from my apt.. and comeback to see all my $hit on top of the dryer... and not to sound sexist, but i knew it had to be some chick that would pull something like that.

kinda petty, but i stopped her cycle and took off; if she doesnt like waiting a couple mins, maybe she'll like waiting another 40 when she comes back to see it still wet!

I know there are low class entitled to everything people everywhere, but I've never seen such low class behavior as I have seen since I moved to California.

Some examples,

One wal mart close to where I lived in the past. People would go and steal your shopping cart. YOu'd leave it for a second and they'd take everything out of it and put it on the floor and take the cart away.

One cheap foods store, people who could walk would still use the electric wheelchair type of carts, they'd put all this food on the counter and of course beer and ciggies first. When the amount reached a certaing dollar amount they'd be done and tell the person they didn't want anything else.

I don't know how these habits started or what prepetuates it.

anyone else have examples?

Oh another one, I was walking out of best buy to my car and some guy said something to me. I looked at the guy who looked homeless and he repeated to me, "don't eyeball me boy." I'm not sure how I'd been eyeballing this trash as I hadn't even seen him before he talked to me the first time.
damn pakis....always thinking they're better than everyone else.

True Story:
One Christmas the Key Club I was part of was giving out food to the needy in the area. We raised so much food that we ran out of people on the list and a few friends and I decided to give it to the guy at the freeway exit. We had all kinds of non perishable stuff (soup and canned veggies). We stop by him, unload a nice sized box of food and carried it over to him. He starts yelling that we better not be trying to give us that food, and started to act all aggro. So we put the box of food down and tell him to feed it to his dog if he doesn't like it. I turn around to go back to my car as a cambell soup can flys by my ear. Stupid m'f'r had started to throw the canned food at me and my car. I caught the only one which had a chance of hitting my car and tossed it back at the box and took off. That is the last time I ever give any of those freeway exit dudes anything which coulld cause damage if thrown.
I'm still shaking my head from that encounter.

Yeah it was such a shock. I'd spent that entire morning running around giving food to needy families, of which most actually invited us to come back for dinner. I was feeling super good and to have that BS happen...
I now live in Pasadena and I routinely give the guy at the Hill street exit my lunch when I didn't have a chance to eat it that day (which seems like more often these days). He seems grateful but I still expect him to turn around one day and throw it at me. He is a totally different dude, but I guess I'm still knda uneasy about those guys.
