Default Mac gurus? Is this a good deal?

I am looking for a used (pre-owned) Mac. I don't do any fancy desktop publishing stuff, just your basic PC stuff: surf the web, MS Office task like Excel/Word, storing and editing photos from digital camera. Mundane everyday PC stuff. I don't play video games. I am sick of PC viruses, pop-ups, frozen screens, etc. I came across this on craigslist.org. Is this a good deal? Is it overkill for my needs? Seller is asking $650. Any help is appreciated. This is WITHOUT a monitor. I have a spare SONY PC monitor that I could use.

My 733 G4 Quicksilver PowerMac has been well cared for and is in great condition. It has numerous upgrades:

-1.125 GB RAM, easily upgraded to 1.5 if needed
-2 internal Hard Drives with a total of 100 GB: a 60 GB + a 40 GB
-USB 2.0 PCI card, for a total of 6 USB inputs (4 are 2.0) & 2 FireWire 400 inputs
-All the latest software: OS 10.3.7, latest Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Express, Macromedia MX suite, Acrobat & QuickTime pro editions, Office X or 2004, Garage Band, etc., etc.

What do you guys think? Oh, one more thing, if I do buy this Mac is there anything I should look out for when picking it up. I have never used a Mac before. How do I check for RAM/HD size, etc.

With the software, that sounds like a pretty good deal. You can check hard drive size by opening a finder window. It should tell you how much space is left. You can check the computer spects( ram, etc), by clicking the apple icon in the upper left menu bar and choosing "about this mac"

I didn't ask about the CDs, I assume I won't get it. Everything is pre-installed on the machine. Like I said, I probably won't be using any of the video/audio editing stuff, maybe just Photoshop. The most important software I care about is MS Office and the OS.

If you don't get the CDs, then they're probably not legit copies of the software. You'll want the CDs and serial numbers/cd keys in case you need to reinstall.
