This is my problem with this board. Krazik said we have an image to protect. What image are we talking about? That we are a board of high, and snooty people who can't take to look at girls in clothes or talk about a subject matter like politics where OPINIONS are expressed. If you can't handle getting bashed because someone disagrees with you, then don't participate. Subject headers exist for a reason. If you don't like the subject, don't click the damn link. It's that easy.
And to the people who open threads that they want to show to their boss while at work without checking the content, you're an ass. Sorry, it's that simple. It's your fault for not checking. You look dumb in front of the boss, look in the mirror, not at this site as the culprit.
Obviously, things can get out of hand. But you deal with those as they come as individual matters. You warn the person, if they act up, throw them off. You don't come out with a directive from "above" and then lock the link, because you don't want to hear the objections.
And something to the posters out there, if you don't think you could say something to someone's face, don't say it on the board. That should keep some of the disagreements/arguments to a minimum. People are real strong without the threat of confrontation.
Oh, and off topic was made for bullshit!! And in the world of the S2000, politics and good looking clothed women, are yes, BULLSHIT!
