Yeah it is.

I grew up watching the Cowboys. My family has had season tickets for 12 years. I had been to every Cowboys home game since 1990, until I went to college, and I still made it to about three games a season. During the glory days of the early nineties, I was fortunate enough to go to the three Super Bowls that the Cowboys played in. I have a lot of Cowboy's stories if you want to hear them, like the time I went to Troy Aikman's house or the time I sat by Emmitt Smith on a plane. I am a die-hard Cowboys fan for life, and to get to the point, I am definitely going to miss #22. He is a stud. Both Emmitt and the Cowboys did what was in their best interests, so I don't have any hard feelings either way.

Does the new version cheat less than 2003? I rented that game one time, played for a few hours and almost had an embolism it was so frustrating. I can't tell you the number of times I'd fumble or throw an INT inside the opponents 20 yard line . Since then I stick to NCAA Football (got 2004 a couple weeks ago... ). I'd like to continue with some of my fav NCAA players (such as my Heisman-winning middle linebacker from Virginia Tech ...66 sacks in a season!), but I just can't stand the cheating.

I will never buy another sports game that does not support online play. I'll be getting Sega/ESPN Football, thank you very much.

Madden does support online, and to answer another question, I have been playing a lot today and I have not noticed any computer assisted cheating. What a relief!

I don't think the game cheats, it's just that the defenses in the NFL are much better than a college defense. You can't throw into double coverage or you have a very good chance of getting picked off.

Gamestop. Don't know if all gamestops did that, but our district did. We actually sent someone to the airport to pick up the shipment as soon as it arrived.
