I just got two of these renewal offers today. One was for 3 years of R&T for $66. Unfortunately the return envelope was not postage paid.

 

Oh, it gets better.

We ordered "Money" magazine with some airline points. We decided not to renew, but they continued to send the mag. Next, they send us a notice that the account was going to collections! WTF!

I called the number and it turns out it was their internal collections department and they wanted me to pay for the issues they sent and renew. They claimed this all was a "customer courtesy" and people appreciate the notice. Shady, to say the least.
