Hmmm...let me see. Awesome basketball player but could not make up his mind if he was coming or going (did both) in the latter part of his career; lousy basketball coach - can't even get his team of 11 players to commit to team play - that gave up in less than a full season; lousy night show host; little or no political experience; social services(???); and we all know what he thinks about family value.

Other candidates may not be angels either, but at least they have a cover of one...

An extremely popular figure here in LA, with decent public speaking skills and a veerrrrry strong business background... I figure he'll do pretty well - our City has proven in the past that we're not afraid to elect a political unkown from teh business world (Riordan - arguably one of the best things to happen to the people and economy of LA since Hollywood) or a 'minority' (Bradley - a great man who did a lot for the City of Angels no matter what we may think of his politics).

Good Luck Magic!

Heh, I just realized we could have Magic for a Mayor and Arnold for a Governor at the same time... I love it here.

Emphasis on DECENT. Good enough to give stump speeches, and he's pretty quick on his feet even if his jokes are never as funny as he thinks they are (then again what politicians are as funny as they think)? Have you ever heard Jim Hahn give a speech?
