Ed Scott, executive director of the U.S. Parachute Association, told the Miami Herald that the remnants of Sarria's parachute must have slowed his fall, allowing him to live to tell the tale.
But he told the Herald he plans to keep on skydiving. "It was just one of those freak accidents."
