so,.....as he is coming down will he be able to pick any body of land and head to it to land,...would there be enough time to say...jump above california and land in hawaii or florida???

It takes like 5 hours to travel to those places in a plane. Do you think he's going to fall for 5 hours while traveling that fast laterally or do you think that he's going to travel that much faster than an airliner? He's jumping from an altitude of less than 25 miles so there is no way he can travel thousands of miles across the US with only his momentum to power him.

Crazy!

What would suck big time if he missed calculated and he's higher than he's soppose to be and was in space and tried to jump still but couldnt and got stuck in space. hahaha
