i am not sure about that...its hard to watch our games when our 2 plays are gore up the middle for a gain of 2 yards or let our qb throw a pick...

1st and 10 = gore up the middle
2nd and 8 = - 2 yard screen pass
3rd and long = gore up the middle 90% or throw a pick 10%...

i should be offensive coordinator of the team and qb, at least we would save some money and end up with the same record...

hey, substitute deshaun foster for gore and you have the carolina panthers!
"guys, we have 18 total rushing yards in the game. foster has 2 fumbles. why would you think THIS time on 3rd and 12 he's gonna find a seam and convert it?"

now i think manning is the more cerebral qb with more technical knowledge of the game. brady has more fluidity at the line, makes things look easier. and yes part of that could be that he usually has more time to throw, but another part of it is that while manning analyzes every minute detail and makes calculations to adjust, brady just kind of assesses the situation and his natural instincts take over and he just reacts. with some sort of highlight reel play. two very different qbs who bring different approaches to the position, but both great in their own right.

Brady has done more with less through out the years. The O-line was only a little better than average until this year. Receiver corp as a whole was average even when D. Branch was there, less when he left.

Now that Brady has excellent receivers (as Manning has had though out his career) he's playing at a higher level than Manning ever did. I have enjoyed watching Marino, Young, Montana, Kelly's K-gun not only dominated defenses, but did so in such casual, effortless manner. So it has been amazing to watch Brady playing above the level of even those guys through 7 games.

steve young rocks, hes just been rocked too many times in the noggin when trying to run. steve, jerry, TO, combo ftmfw. i think i am gonna get my road to the superbowl vhs out tonite...

randy moss is currently the best wr in the nfl when he is happy. right now he is happy. he has the most raw talent out there. brady just needs to throw that ball up there, and u now randy will activate his booster rockets and jump up and catch it, even in double/triple coverage.

marvin harrison is a completely different kind of receiver than randy. not as fast, not as strong, but like manning, works really hard.

game of the season is gonna be when they meet up. final score is colts 38-34

They both are great QB's.
I think Brady has been fortunate to play for probably the best coaching staff in the NFL. This year the set of recievers on the Pats is probably the best in football.
I think if Manning was on the Pats this year he'd have very similar numbers to Brady, maybe even better. On the other hand if Brady was on the Colts I'm sure his numbers wouldn't be anywhere like he is enjoying right now.
Should be a great game when the 2 meet.

Have to say your wrong here. Brady has done great things with WR's that would only catch the ball and run the right route part of the time. If plugged into the Colts he would have had better stats over career then Manning by far. If Manning would have had to wait 'til his 8th year as a pro to get great WR's he would ridding a bench on some second rate team like the Falcons.
