Well I have decided to go to college after about 2 years of being out of Highschool and I took the assessment test and I scored 90+ in the Reading and Writing but I did really low in the math because it has been so long and I need to refresh so I will post up questions that I need helped with as I go. 8 over Negative 2. I know it is negative 4. I am confused that if there is a negative over a negative would it switch to a positive?

 

Yes, -4 is the answer. A negative over a negative turns into a positive.

 

-8 over 2 also = -4.

Ok so now I feel really retarded.

54 - 6 divided by 2 + 6= 57
How does that equal 57?
54 - 6 = 48
48 divided by 2 = 24
24 + 6 = 30

 

54- (6/2) + 6

The cheatin' is starting a little early no?
