Medal you never want to get

oh i forgot to mention...
when i got hit. it hit my right arm, right leg, back... and one went for my heart BUT it was reflected by MY DOG TAG.
i still wear that dog tag and i dont think i ever will take it off.

Congrats on your purple heart. I treat many Purple Heart Medal recipients (Marines) at Bethesda Naval.
At my last command, I had an Air Force SMSgt who recieved his second one during 9-11.
Only two medal I really don't care about are the Army Commendation ones that I got for being in the Pentagon during 9-11 and one that I got when I PCS'd out. j/k. (Well, Navy Commendation or Joint Service Commendation would've been better).
