I dont really know the levels, it was a los angeles county employment urine test so they didnt tell me anything. No i dont have any symptoms of anything they just want to make sure my increased protein level is from my supplements and not from something wrong. Thanks for all your help so far guys. So is there anything besides water i can drink to bring down the levels?

I'm not sure how much I'd really trust the accuracy of the LA County lab. The best thing to do is to go to your own doctor and mention your test result. Then he/she can order a proper urinalysis and microscopic exam to definitively rule out any kidney disease. They'll do a blood test too.

Drinking water is always a good thing, but if you have any type of underlying renal dysfunction, it's not going to affect the protein loss. You will end up producing a more dilute urine.... but that won't change anything because they measure the total *amount* (in grams) of protein lost in a day and not the concentration.

you definitely need to go to your doctor. NOW NOW NOW.

when kidneys fail, they can do so quickly.

3 years ago, I found out that my kidneys failed and had done so a month earlier. my creatanine was 39. normal is <1. given that you take creatine, you could maybe have a little higher level, but probably <2.

protein is a big warning sign. big. the chances are significant that your kidneys are failing. the good news is that kidney damage can be reversed if caught in time. get to your doctor NOW. Don't let it go. Trust me, depending on a dialysis machine to live SUCKS.

are you feeling drained lately? high levels of toxins and low blood counts cause this. your kidneys are what tells your body to make blood. in my case, 75% of my blood was dead sludge before I found out.

I still don't know why my kidneys failed. i'm guessing strep or something else over time, but I don't think creatine helped. I'm 29btw.

the reason its coming out in your pee is because your body doesnt need it. youre obviously taking way too much in. its the same with all vitamins and minerals. you can eat alllllllllllllll the oranges you want, but your body is going to take the vitamin c it needs, and then pee out the rest. why, may i ask, are you taking both creatine AND protein supplements. are you a body builder???

protein is NOT one of those things that should be coming out in your urine. proteins are large molecules, and if they are coming out it is a sign that sever glomeruli (kidney filters) are damaged.

your kidneys primarily let out water-soluble vitamins and electrolytes like sodium, potassium, and phosphorus. that, along with urea. proteins should not be coming out in large quantities.

Point 1: If you are not a physician or in the medical profession PLEASE refrain from giving medical advise.

Point 2: The internet forum about s2000s is really not a place for a medical consult.

Saying that: I would recommend you see an Internal Medicine physicain who do a proper work up for your Proteinuria(protein in the urine). There are a myriad of causes. However without detailed data, all we are doing is guess work. Medicine is science and without the medical facts we(medical professionals) cannot give u proper advise.

Finally, you might want to get some generic info from mayoclinic.com or webmd.com

Good Luck
