Other advice was given, just that one is by far the best advice for reasons already stated.

My brother was in a similar situation as you were. I won't go into specifics, but he fared much better seeing a physician in person than had he just farted around the internet looking for advice.

My dad's a specialist, it's harder for him to sign on to HMO's like Cigna.
