Such a fine and likable actor on the screen, yet so troublesome in person. The man is rich, handsome, used to be likable, etc., yet he keeps beating up his wife, drinking, going on racist tirades, etc. And why did he marry a not so attractive Russian woman too?

Anyway, after the latest scandal, the guy is in deep troubles. Such a waste!

Yet another self absorbed, spoiled brat from Hollywood hell bent on self destruction via substance abuse and a total disregard for other people. Too much money and too little brains. Why is anyone surprised or concerned for the idiot?

 

 

Because he's such a good and likable actor on screen. I like most of his movies. In his latest racist tirade, he said: "...a pack of N..." When someone is drunk or angry, the truth usually comes out.

Here in Houston one of the morning shows on the radio has a segment each morning where they prank call people. This morning the lady from the radio show calls an apartment complex looking for an apartment. She says she got into a fight with her boyfriend and she needs to get out. While she's on the phone with the apartment complex they start playing back some of the Mel Gibson tapes so it sounds like Mel Gibson is the lady's boyfriend. I almost had to pull over, I was laughing so hard.

 

Does it really matter what an actor is like in real life? %99 of the people in this world are never going to meet Mel, and of those that do %99 are never going to get to know who he really is. I'm not trying to defend him, I don't care about him. My point is that this is the case will all Hollywood actors, nobody knows and nobody cares. So hes an A-hole, what does that change? He can still act like a good and likable person.
