Most women I know have a budget. . . now, granted, that budget may be 90% of their income, but it's still a budget.

With guys. . . it's an on/off switch, usually set at 110% thresholds.

Hm. I'm financially conservative, big time. My WIFE had to convince me to buy the S2000 (which I'd wanted forever)!

My wife, on the other hand, would gladly spend money like it was going out of style.

My mom is financially conservative but my dad isn't.

For some people it's their car...they don't think twice...hell I don't even think once before I buy something that I like for my S...

mind stops working and I start drooling....I am sure I can save like super save if I did not have the S, but there is nothing that makes me more happy than the VTEKKK!!

Wrong question. "Is there any place still using SharePoint and NOT in the middle of a hiring freeze?"
Umm..I don't know how things are up there, but Dallas has a pretty decent market for SharePoint, if not SharePoint they have opening for SharePoint/C#, so you can work in both .NET and SharePoint, I mean of course there is more work but one who loves programming will jump on offers like that

Sir, it's been well-established that your situation is the exception that proves the rule, in nearly every situation discussed on this forum.

I've seen guys live absolutely SPARTAN lifestyles. . . but as soon as they've got their mind to get some women-thang, they spend like there's no tomorrow.
O RLY?

sharepoint is huge here in cinci as well. before i quit my last company (consulting) they were trying to push anyone with .net experience to learn it. i dodged that bullet and left them for my then-client...

annnnd now my company just installed it... sigh. i'm guessing we won't be spending any more money on it than we already have though, given current economic conditions. have bigger things to worry about than getting people into using sharepoint.

Funny thing is the company I am with, has like 4 clients lined up for SharePoint solutions...I wonder how some companies are still making a lot of money.

Our current client is paying us like a couple hundred thousand dollars for a small .NET project, SharePoint installation and migration and the cube!
