Why do the messages in some threads not wordwrap (or at least do not wordwrap enough to keep from having to mess with IE to see all of the text at one time)? Most of them wrap just fine, but every so often they seem to have this problem. Noticed the same thing on the h-a forum.

If I understand your problem, this is what is causing the problem you describe.

If a picture is posted on a thread and it is a high enough resolution not to fit inside a normally sized message box, it will cause the entire thread to become wider to accomodate the size of the picture.

The smaller the monitor, the more likely you will experience this problem. That said, even with my 21" monitor at work, threads with large pictures will wrap.

If you are having this problem with threads that don't have pictures in them, then I have no idea.

Sometimes happens if a post contains one of those extremely long URLs.

I've been wondering about that too. Thanks for the explanation. The pictures are the problem for me.
TFota, what res. do you run on that 21" monitor?

Well, I had to look, but here is one that is doing it to me and doesn't have a picture or long URL.

Must be a bug that turns off or changes wordwrap for some reason then forgets to reset it correctly.
