This game is awesome. My goal is to hold up every bad guy and take their dog tags. Then kill them There are nice posters all through out the game that belong in the 'Hot Girls' Thread

If you got a PS2, this game is a definate must have.

 

I've played for six hours straight.... I think I am going to bed now. This game is so good! If you have PS2, go get this game.

 

This game rocks!!! I can't figure out how you hold up people and take their dog tags. I was reading it in the manual that you walk up to them and stick a gun at their backs. How you do that? And what button you press to search them for dog tags? Oh does anyone know if you can throw the dead bodies off the ship? You can drag them around but can you throw them off?

 

Dogtags

Getting Dogtags is fun, and easy. You have to sneak up behind the bad guy and press square while the gun is armed. Hold down the button, or else you will fire. You don't want to fire at him, just scare him. When both his hands are in the air, slowly release the square button so that you take your aim off of him. Then go around to the front of him and aim at him in first person view. Aim for either the head or the crotch area and he will start shaking, and saying things like 'Don't kill me' and stuff. He will shake and the dog tag will drop. Now, you can either shoot him, or see what else he has by letting him shake some more. If you come across an enemy who gives you a hard time, saying things like 'You won't shoot me' or other testing comments, shoot him in the leg or something with a real gun, not with the tranquelizer(sp?) gun. He'll then get scared, and then point the gun at his face or crotch and he'll give up the dogtags. Any questions?


Throwing enemies off the ship

Yes, it can be done. I didn't know about it until I started dragging then around. I'm not good with ship terms, so I'm not going to use them. There is a gate on each side of the ship, just simply drag the unconscious or dead guy to it and you can dump him off the side. Pretty good way to hide them so another guard doesn't come by and see them laying there and alert the others.

This game is so cool. Looks like I have a long night of game playing ahead of me when I get home from work.

 

When you drag your enemey to the gate thing, he'll open it and kinda just toss the bad guy off then close it, you don't have to worry about falling over.

Also, a shot to the leg isn't a fatal wound It'll just hurt the guy. And you'll notice that after you shoot him in the leg or foot, he'll stand favoring that foot, with most of his weight on the other foot.

 

if you have trouble remembering which side is which on a boat, just remember port has four letters and so does left.

so... stupid question, really stupid question and don't tell me to RTFM either! how the heck do I get a real gun? you can't shake it off of the guys, that only gives you rations and ammo.

You are stuck using the Tranq until you fight Olga, the first boss. You will get a 9mm after you take her out. That is the first 'real' gun that you can get, that I know of.
